The story is bittersweet and beautifully drawn. It's short in a good way, but it did move a bit too quickly for me in some places. It didn't linger quite enough on the 'last year' itself. I would have liked to spend a bit more time and development on the prince. The conclusion was also a bit too brief so wasn't quite satisfying. Like just 5-6 pages longer could have rounded the story out perfectly.
